Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 27, 2026
Step on the Farm ("the app") is made by Kopp Studio. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled. The short version: we do not collect your data, we have no servers that receive it, and we never sell or share it.
Health and step data
The app asks for permission to read your step count from Apple Health. This is the only Health data it reads. The app never writes to Apple Health. Steps that were entered manually in Health are ignored. Step data is used only on your device to earn in-game currency, and it is never sent to us or to any third party. You can revoke access at any time in Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices.
Game data and iCloud
Your farm, step balance, purchases and settings are saved on your device. To protect your progress, this save is backed up to your own private iCloud account through Apple's CloudKit, so it can be restored on a new phone or after a reinstall. This data is stored in your iCloud and is not accessible to us.
Notifications
If you allow them, the app schedules local reminders on your device (for example, an evening reminder). These are generated on your device and do not use a push notification server. You can turn them off in the app or in iOS Settings.
What we do not do
- No ads and no advertising identifiers
- No analytics or tracking
- No user accounts
- No sale or sharing of data with third parties
Children
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes the data stored on your device. To remove the iCloud backup, go to iOS Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Account Storage and delete the app's data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
